The Pickle Jar Acquired by Pickleball Kingdom
As our sport continues to grow in popularity, we luckily have more and more places to play. From public outdoor courts to indoor clubs and facilities, we have a lot of options here in New Jersey, and we're about to get another one -- kind of. We say that because it's not so much a new place to play as it is the same location, but with different ownership.
The Pickle Jar in Hillsborough Township is being acquired by Pickleball Kingdom, one of the major pickleball court franchises in America, and it will be called Pickleball Kingdom Hillsborough. In order to be consistent with the Pickleball Kingdom brand, the facility will be resurfacing its courts, upgrading fencing, and offering more amenities.
The transformation of the club from the Pickle Jar to Pickleball Kingdom Hillsborough will be led by franchisees Yashraj Kurani and Dip Jadawala, who are both avid pickleball players. Kurani plays competitively and is a 4.0 PPA Golden Ticket winner.
"We are proud to continue expanding Pickleball Kingdom's footprint in New Jersey," said Ace Rodrigues, Founder and CEO of Pickleball Kingdom. "This acquisition reflects our commitment to elevating the sport by transforming strong local clubs into world-class indoor destinations. Yash and Dip are the right leaders to head this transformation."
